Privacy Policy
Last Updated: May 2026
This Privacy Policy governs the Soulshine Cards mobile application ("the App"), developed and operated by an individual developer ("we," "our," or "us"). This document outlines our commitment to your privacy and details how data is handled when you interact with the App.
1. No Account Registration & Private Local Storage
We believe in providing an unrestricted path to self-awareness. The App does not require user registration, log-in credentials, or the creation of a profile. You can access all available features anonymously.
Your Journal Data: The integrated journal features and card logs are processed and stored entirely locally on your mobile device. We do not operate a backend cloud server, we do not sync your reflections to an external system, and we have absolutely no access to the words or entries you write.
2. Third-Party Services, Analytics & Monetization
The baseline version of the App is free to use and supported by advertisements. To maintain app performance, analyze usage behavior, and display ads, the App integrates third-party Software Development Kits (SDKs). These third-party networks may collect specific information automatically, including your device's unique advertising identifier, IP address, and system activities.
We utilize the following service integrations:
- Google AdMob & Mobile Ad Networks: Used to display relevant, targeted, or contextual advertisements.
- Google Analytics: Collects anonymous analytical events regarding how often features are used, system performance metrics, and crashes to optimize future updates.
- Meta Analytics: Measures audience demographics, traffic events, and attributes anonymous optimization patterns to ensure proper delivery tracking.
- Google Play Billing: Manages optional monthly premium ad-free subscription transactions securely. We do not capture or process any of your banking information or credit cards directly.
3. Children's Privacy
The App provides a psychological and reflective tool designed for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect personal identifiers from children under the age of 13. If you believe your child has permitted an external service network to register tracking identifiers via this App, you are encouraged to contact us.
4. Security
Because your primary reflective information is saved exclusively to your mobile operating system, the privacy and preservation of your journal logs depend directly on your device security configurations. We strongly suggest safeguarding your smartphone with access keys or biometric filters.
5. Changes to This Policy
We reserve the right to modify or change this policy. Any changes made will be posted immediately to this URL link with an updated calendar date at the top.
